10 Things That Are In my Head

1. H1N1 Virus
The swine flu virus (pardon my language) is a bitch. My trip to Vietnam got postponed. Not to mention, people are dying. *sob* I can't decide which I'm more upset about. *KIDDING*

2. The Mitsubishi Art Competition
I won Grand Prix in a Japanese art competition (my prize was the trip to Vietnam, haha) and the awarding ceremony is tomorrow night. O_O I am not exactly looking forward to it...

3. Message to All Asians
I have to think of something to say to "all Asians" that will be displayed and distributed all over the continent. I am never good at public gestures like that. Any ideas? It has to be about art. Here's what I thought: "Art is not about consistency, it's about uniqueness and individuality. It does not need validation and comes from deep within you. Keep creating, keep spreading joy. Peace! ^_~"

4. Big Bang Theory (:
I'm watching The Big Bang Theory Season 1 and 2 over and over again. It's funny and crazy as it sounds, Sheldon's voice is fun to listen to. To anybody who hasn't seen the show, I recommend it with my whole heart! It is guaranteed to make anybody laugh.

5. My House in Maldives
My mum's house is in Maldives and we used to live there. It was abandoned with only two maids living in it for about six months. They didn't do squat! The place is a dump; dust and smelly are not good enough adjectives to describe the rank of cleanliness. I am not a clean-freak nor a mess. I justprefer clean and organized environments. Right now, this dump... makes me want to jump out a window. I bet the vacuum cleaner agrees with me.

6. Being Stuck in the Same Room for 3 Days
THREE DAYS. Yep, did I mention how clean it is? And I haven't ventured out into all the sand, sea and sun Maldives is supposed to be about. It has been dark and gloomy since I came here. It was rained for one whole day. I have the worst luck ever. I should have noticed the lightening in the clouds as my plane landed; but, I was too busy being annoyed at the turbulence. I do not enjoy flying.

7. Going Back Home
Sri Lanka is one of the most awesome places in the whole wide world. My best friend is there and my mother is currently driving herself nuts by being there all alone with my brother. The 21st of this month could not get here sooner! I cannot express how much I wish to feel the familiarity of my own bed and not to flinch everytime I have to use the bathroom. I am surprised I haven't died of some disease already.

8. The Skin Peeling Off My Face
It can't be sunburn. I have not been out in the sun AND there hasn't been any sun. So it is just doing that all by itself. There is no freaking lotion here either. At least not good ones. I am never letting my mother help me with packing. I curse the fact that I did not bring my own towel.

9. The Very Dry, Hoarse Throat
My tongue is dry. Like the Sahara Desert. I may have a common flu or something but I refuse to believe it. There is NO WAY that my father is dragging me to a hospital to get properly diagnosed. You go into a hospital here, and you come out with a billion more dangerous diseases than the one you had in the first place.

10. S.L.E.E.P.
I need it! I don't have insomnia, I just really don't feel like sleeping. Today's my uncle's birthday and tomorrow is the ceremony. I can't afford to have dark circles under my eyes. I should sleep. And apply cream under my eyes. Maybe that'll help. Oh, I found moisturiser to help with the peeling but I'm still open for better ideas. I'm just 'peeling' for them.. Hah.

Hello World....

Let's Have a Picnic....

*guffaws with laughter*

And I welcome myself to the new world of blogging.

So far, I've been up till 3:08 A.M. in the morning perfecting my header and I'm still not pleased with it....

"Stay tuned for crazy rants at crazy hours...
For complaints about the randomest things....

For revelations and remarks, both serious and humourous."

I sound like a cheesy commercial for a soap opera... *sigh*

My sincere apologies to whoever had the bad luck to read this,
I hope you come back to read something when I'm more sane.....

(What am I talking about... I am NEVER sane!)

Bye for now... I shall be back. (:
